The original Splinter Cell is now available to download for free on PC to celebrate Ubisoft’s 30th anniversary.
Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell originally released in November 2002, and since then, it spawned a total of five sequels with Splinter Cell: Blacklist being the most recent entry, which was released in 2013.
Last month, Ubisoft made Prince of Persia: Sands of Time available to download for free as part of the same promotion. The promotion only gives customers the opportunity to download a free game for just one month, which means you’ll have until the middle of August to download Splinter Cell until another title takes its place.
Those interested in downloading Splinter Cell will need to download Uplay in order to add the game to their account. We think it’s a small price to pay in order to own such a classic game, so log in and get downloading!
